CMES Shipping Holds Meeting on Corporate Culture Promotion 2021

29 March 2021 - CMES Shipping held a meeting on promoting its corporate culture in 2021. CMES Shipping Chairman Xie Chunlin attended the meeting and delivered a keynote speech. Yuan Hongqi, Director of Communication and Culture of China Merchants Group's Administrative Office, was also invited to the meeting.

Yuan Hongqi noted that thanks to its proactive response geared to the actual needs of shipping services, CMES Shipping has made remarkable achievements in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic and restarting production and building business benchmarks and its corporate culture value system underpinned by the "China Merchants Inheritance, Shekou Gene, and Hailiao Spirit".

Xie Chunlin delivered a speech with the theme of "Carrying Forward the China Merchants Inheritance to Burnish the China Merchants Brand Image -- Taking Corporate Culture Communication to a New Level as a World-Class Shipping Management Company". The speech fully affirmed CMES Shipping's efforts in corporate culture communication and brand building over the past year, and outlined requirements from six perspectives for the next phase of corporate culture communications. 

Organizations and individuals that performed excellently in corporate culture communication during 2020 were honored for their outstanding performance at the meeting. The Administration (Corporate Culture) Department presented a report titled "Ready to Pioneer in Innovation and Action -- Contributing to Corporate Culture Communications for the Drive to Build a World-Class Shipping Management Company", and explained about the Communication Guidelines for 2021 and the Documentation Release Process for the Communication Platform. During the exchange session, the participants conducted in-depth discussions around a range of topics including corporate culture communication, communication and implementation of CMES Shipping's cultural value system, brand image promotion, and communication through overseas platforms to brainstorm and pool the wisdom, and broaden the horizon for the next stage of communication efforts.
