25 November 2022 - Wang Yongxin, President of CMES Shipping, met with Guy Platten, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), in Hong Kong. Also present were Simon Bennett, Deputy Secretary General of ICS, Ding Lei, Vice President of CMES Shipping, and Hu Bin, Vice President, Chief Captain, and Safety Director of CMES Shipping.

Wang Yongxin welcomed the delegation led by Guy Platten and showed his appreciation for ICS' support for the World Maritime Merchants Forum. He then introduced CMES Shipping's history and fleets along with the 2nd World Maritime Merchants Forum, and fully acknowledged ICS' influence in and contributions to the shipping industry. He also expressed his hope that both parties would expand their partnership.

Guy Platten introduced the organizational structure and main business of ICS, and expressed his hope that both parties would continue enhancing their communication and deepening their partnership.
