9 February 2023 - Chairman Xie Chunlin and President Wang Yongxin of China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. (CMES SHIPPING) met with Wu Junli, Chairman of PetroChina International Co., Ltd., in Hong Kong.

Both parties introduced their respective latest business development and comprehensively reviewed the favorable cooperation in oil tanker transportation and time charter. Moreover, they explored the future business cooperation in crude oil and LNG transportation. The delegation led by Wu Junli viewed CMES' digital ship system on-site and conducted in-depth communication and exchange in the collaboration and cooperation in guaranteed transportation capacity, sharing of information and resources, and digital development.

In order to further reinforce the friendly cooperation and strengthen support for transportation capacity, both parties held a signing ceremony on-site. Associated Maritime Company (Hong Kong) Limited (AMCL) under CMES and Glasford Shipping (Hong Kong) Limited under PetroChina International Co., Ltd. signed a specific cooperation agreement.
