17 February 2023 - Wang Yongxin, President of China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. (CMES SHIPPING), led a delegation to visit Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd. (SIPG), to discuss how to deepen business cooperation.

Wang Yongxin pointed out that both parties have closely cooperated in transportation business, such as bulk and general cargo, LNG, Ro-Ro, and containers. He hoped that the cooperation could be expanded to route development, berth services, digital innovation, and the establishment of supply chain systems to jointly contribute to the strategy of building China into a strong transport power.

Gu Jinshan looked forward to deeper cooperation, mutual progress, and more concerted efforts to establish international and domestic logistics channels and promote the construction of the Shanghai International Shipping Center.
