30 March 2023 - Wang Yongxin, President of China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. (CMES SHIPPING) met with Emanuele Grimaldi, Chairman of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), in Hong Kong. ICS Secretary General Guy Platten and CMES Vice President Xu Hui accompanied the meeting.
 
Wang Yongxin welcomed the delegation led by Emanuele Grimaldi, and appreciated ICS' strong support for the World Maritime Merchants Forum. He fully acknowledged ICS' influence on and contribution to the shipping industry, and hoped that both parties would conduct more exchange and cooperation in low carbon emissions and digital innovation. 

Emanuele Grimaldi shared his views on the development and application of new energy for ships and the implementation of low-carbon rules. He hoped that both parties would continue to strengthen communication and exchange and join hands to promote the high-quality development of the global shipping industry.
