18-19 August 2023 - CMES Shipping organized the Navigational Safety Seminar 2023 in Shanghai. President Wang Yongxin emphasized the importance of implementing work safety responsibilities, prioritizing risk prevention, and achieving a harmonious integration of work safety knowledge and practice.

The seminar brought together experts from the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, Ningbo Maritime Safety Administration, Ningbo Xiangshan Fishery Law Enforcement and Nantong University to deliver lectures and provide training on topics such as "preventing accidents involving commercial fishing vessels" and "ensuring the mental well-being of crews". Discussions and exchanges were conducted on subjects like enhancing safety measures to prevent collisions between commercial fishing vessels. During the conference, 3 key initiatives were introduced to enhance navigation safety, urging all participating units to adopt a mindset of utmost caution, reinforce their sense of responsibility, and guarantee the safety of ship navigation.
